Last night, Jay was simply; THAT DUDE! In two tournaments, he dispatched fields of 7 and 6 and took home the money and the coveted leaderboard points. He jumped from not being on the list to 10th place and in the hunt going into this final week. At times Jay was aggressive, patient, and also lucky; all attributes needed in being a good tournament player. In both games he was matched up with Chris. In the first game Chris had a substantial chip lead which Jay was soon able to whisk away via double up. They were about even and then Jay got the aforementioned luck he needed to cut Chris down for good.
In Jay v Chris 2.0, Chris was slightly ahead going into the showdown. In this instance, Jay's aggressive gear shift wore down Chris' passive play. This was a great evening of poker leading up to our final week of the season.
