Lloyd Takes that Bag

7 strong players and the last one standing was Lloyd. Lloyd has had early success on the CIPT tour, but as of late, he has not been able to replicate that success. He has had a string of early eliminations up until this evening. In a field of Ross, Dre, Nitin, Tino, P-Air, and Brandon, Lloyd took a couple of huge pots early and was able to hold on to enough of those chips to get into a showdown with Pierre. The action hand involved AA vs Lloyd's KJ. The flop would reveal a king and add the needed Jack, on the river. Lloyd had a few hundred to outchip Pierre and take the game on that hand. This was a good field so all kudos to Lloyd for the great finish.

The second game had all of the same participants but it was Dre's perseverance that kept him afloat. Dre has been battling a rash of tiltish behavior as he has been having a run of bad beats that puts him in one-move-mode. This game could have gone that way but he got the bit of luck he needed to replenish his stack. He outlasted and met heads up with Brandon. There was trash talk but all in competitive fun. In the end, it was again; Dre Day.
