Dre Hood: Confessions of a Star/The Proliferation of Tino

With quiet confidence, Dre has become one of CIPT's brightest stars. He isn't going to blow you away with anything he does but you'll look up and his side of the table will be full of chips. He is already an Invitational champion and is hungrily looking to become the first 2 time champion. He's calculated and patient and almost never overplays a hand. He has all the tools that you would want in your arsenal. This was a pretty fun outing and even so, Dre was determined to get that money, that W, and those coveted points. In the first game, he succeeded in doing just that. In an unforeseen twist, Dre was also more candid, verbode, and insightful than we have ever seen him. It was a great moment that highlighted a great evening.

Dre found himself in a heads up match with the surging Tino and was able to take him down and secure the 5pts. This moved Dre into 3rd place in the rankings and almost assuredly, earned him an invite to another CIPT Invitational Championship.

Not to be forgotten, Tino surged into a tie for second place with Lloyd. He has played great and his perseverance is paying off. Tino is a core member of the CIPT looking to join the ranks of Pierre as the only core member to win a CIPT Invitational Tournament. He has pretty much secured his spot in the Invitational tournament along with Lloyd, Dre, and Cory. His legacy is already pretty solid but a crown in the new format would go a long way to put Tino on the list with the most prolific. He's cunning, unreadable, and his instincts are top notch. He is not the guy you want to see across from you with a stack of chips or on the respirator, as he has proven to be an outstanding comeback player. Tino could be in the #1 spot by the end of the season. Stay tuned!
