Ohio State vs Michigan, Red Sox vs Yankees, Celtics vs Lakers; these are some of the iconic rivalries that have molded our perception of what a rivalry should look like. What all of these rivalries have in common is that there is a certain level of respect and closeness that also accompanies the desire to want to humiliate and destroy the opponent. What we have here in the CIPT looks to have all the makings of those historic gems. CIPT, I give you; Dre vs Ivory!!! In the last post I covered Ivory's current ascension and how he had gotten the better of Dre in that game. In this version, it was Dre's day. Dre didn't do anything special except be the steely, instinctual, and patient poker player that he is. The rest just worked itself out and he was the man with the points and the money. So, for scoreboard; Dre 1- Ivory 1. I'm sure all of us are looking forward to the next iteration because it has certainly been classic interactions.

In the other news, Jay can go away and then return and go then away again, but he never seems to show any degradation in poker skill. In a pretty competitive field, he outlasted the competition and kept himself relevant in the ranks.
