What a night! After a few weeks off, it was a fun filled evening of poker and camaraderie. In the night's main event, we saw poker chips move all over the place. Chip leads seemed to never be safe with players like Ivory around. We saw a field of eleven get dwindled down to Dre and Ivory in a heads-up grudge match. It was spirited and we saw two competitors who really wanted to win, hold nothing back. Eventually, Ivory would take the coveted 13pts and more notably; his first CIPT victory. It was a great moment to witness, in the development of this young man's poker game.

Game 2 ....well, lets just say game two was less like poker and more like I declare war. Ivory; running off the high of the first game just decided that he was going to effectively hijack the game. For awhile, he did just that. His luck would eventually run out but not before making Cory the benefactor. Cory was able to ride this bequeathing into a heads-up battle against Jerry. Jerry is a worthy opponent but Cory was able to frustrate Jerry with aggressiveness. At what point, Jerry accused Cory of being psychic, as he folded every time Jerry had a major hand. This is one of Cory's greatest aspects; he knows when to get away from a

hand and cut his loses.

Of note, there were games on 6-27. I just didn't get around to getting a picture before he left but Cory won both of those games.
