Making His Presence Known

Cory is new to the CIPT. He's a proud stay at home dad who happens to know a little bit about playing poker. In the first game; a two table affair, Cory was able to outlast the competition that included tough players like Tino and Jerry. Cory is an interesting player to watch as he employs a Daniel Negreanuesque style of talking himself through a hand. He did this through several pivotal hands that really turned the tide in his favor. In the heads up match he drew a hungry Tino. It was good competitive play but in the end, Cory was the player left in the victory circle.

The second game of the evening saw Pierre return to his winning ways by outlasting a field of six players. Tino returned for the heads up match but was again thwarted on his quest to dominate the CIPT.
