Well, another week and another solid outing for Molly. She was already atop the rankings and with this victory, she was able to hold off a surging second place Jerry in heads up play. The field of seven was really no match for Molly's frenetic play as she went on one helluva rush. She was hitting on all cylinders catching hands left and right. She was starting to make the the rest of us look like we had just learned the game. The heads up match was pretty brief, at least for one where Jerry was a participant. At the conclusion, Jerry congratulated her (as always) by stating how lucky she is:-)

Just as the first game's win was a familiar place for Molly, Jerry was no slouch in the second game versus a field of eight. Molly struck early doubling up in hand number five; twice the chips of any other player. It looked like she was well on her way to recreating the first game's outcome. It didn't turn out that way as she busted midway through the game. Jerry however, implemented that rock solid patience and held on until he got the cards he needed. At one point he showed quad kings at a reveal. It's hard to be mad at a man with four kings. Later, he would meet the upstart Tony, in an exciting showdown that went back and forth. Eventually, the luck would tilt in Jerry's favor.

On another note, it was awesome to see Jeanetta again. She was in town visiting family and graced us for the evening.
