It would would take only a couple of tries for our European friend, Alex to break through on the CIPT tour. In a very frantic game that saw chips traverse through the hands of many players, Alex just sat back quietly and waited for his breaks. When he caught them, he made sure to make them count. He would eventually get heads up with newcomer Dave and dispatch him in a pretty brief showdown. It was a great moment for Alex who has been a great addition to the tour.

The second game of the day saw Dre wear down a field of 8 to get back in the winners circle and get closer to that 6th qualifying spot that he so covets. Molly was his eventual opponent and we all know how much of a rush she has been on. No slouch himself and showing why he is the reining CIPT Invitational Champion, (If ya need him) Dre took care of business and deposited the money as well as the precious 5 points on the leader board.
