The night saw the return of a few of some throwback players of CIPT's past. Tino was one of them and he proved why he has always been one of the most quietly feared players on the tour.In the 2nd game of the evening , he caught some huge hands early and and was never out of contention. He got heads up with Pierre and eventually wore him down to a nub and took the cash and first place points. This was Tino's first placement of the season but probably not the last.
The first game was a wild one that saw newcomer Rob turn unlikely scenario after unlikely scenario into tournament gold. He beat a field of 11 in an eventual heads up match with Chris that saw one of the most unreal final hands you will ever see. It was certainly one for the books. Hopefully, we'll see Rob in future games.
